Step 4: Now, go to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Activision\Call of Duty – Black Ops III (If you are using a 32-bit version of Windows, then replace “Wow6432Node” with “MicrosoftWindows NTCore”)

Step 5: In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, find a key named “Config” and right-click on it. A new menu will pop up. Just click on the Permissions option from this new pop-up menu and click on the Change button. In the Permissions window that opens, check off (dot) the checkbox labeled “Full Control” and click on the OK button. You will see a message box in Registry Editor saying that you have successfully changed permission for this key, and now it will allow you to modify its contents.

Step 6: Now, double-click on the key named “Config” and then click on the Edit button. In this new window, you will see a list of all the files and folders present in this key. Now, navigate to the “Call of Duty – Black Ops III.exe” file and delete it entirely by deleting it from this list entirely by clicking on the Delete button present at the bottom of this window.

Step 7: Now, go to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Activision\Call of Duty – Black Ops III (If you are using a 32-bit version of Windows, then replace “Wow6432Node” with “MicrosoftWindows NTCore”)

Step 8: In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, find a key named “LastGoodConfig” and then click on the Delete button in the main menu bar to remove this key from Registry Editor.

Step 9: Now, go to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Activision\Call of Duty – Black Ops III (If you are using a 32-bit version of Windows, then replace “Wow6432Node” with “MicrosoftWindows NTCore”)

Step 10: In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, locate a key named “Config” and then double-click on it. A new window will open. Now, navigate to the “Call of Duty – Black Ops III.exe” file and delete it entirely by deleting it from this list entirely by clicking on the Delete button present at the bottom of this window.
